Top Maps and Navigation Apps in Ghana Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Maps and Navigation app category in Ghana saw varied performance across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

GPS Coordinates Locator Map, published by Firehawk from Israel, experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $80 in late March. Weekly downloads steadily climbed, reaching 122 in the same period, while weekly active users rose from 599 to 652 by the end of the quarter.

GPS Phone Location Tracker by ReiDxSoft from Turkey saw a decline in weekly revenue from $126 to $31. However, downloads saw a peak of 259 in mid-March, and active users increased from 2.1K to 2.5K over the quarter.

GPS Maps Voice Navigation App from GeniusTools Labs in Canada showed a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $26 in early March. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 107 in January, while active users grew from 1.4K to 1.6K.

Friend Location Tracker: GPS by RADAMAN YAUHENI of Belarus saw a revenue high of $82 in late January. Downloads peaked at 74 in mid-February, although they dropped to zero by the end of March.

Navionics® Boating, from Garmin in the US, maintained steady revenue around $16, with a slight increase to $18 towards the end of March. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, peaking at 22, while active users hovered around 19.
